My dorm building had a karaoke party tonight (with an 80's theme), and some of my friends and I went. I had a blast! One of the songs we sang was "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" sung by Cyndi Lauper... so now I have that song stuck in my head. It'll probably stay there all night, so that I'll have weird dreams, and then it will most likely pop into my head at odd times throught the weekend until I have to download the mp3. That always seems to happen to me. Anyway.... I had a grand time, and then I came back to my room and played Final Fantasy VIII for a bit, and now I'm almost fully drained of energy. Time for bed.

Last thing... some of Squall's thoughts from FF8:

"Why do people depend on each other?  In the end, you're all alone.  I've made it this far by myself.  Sure, I couldn't do a thing when I was a kid.... I'll be the first one to admit that I'm here because of other people. I'm fine by myself now.  I don't want to depend on anyone.  How can I do that?  Someone tell me...  'Someone'?  So, I'll end up depending on others after all."
