There's something I can do to help the people I care about. I know there has to be something out there in the world. But I don't know what it is.
"just be there."
It seems like there's nothing I can do... well, nothing that I feel is sufficient. I have such strong feelings, but I don't know how to act on them. I want to protect my friends, and everyone too. But how?
"just be there."
But is that enough? To just be there? ...to listen? Is that what "just be there" means? Sometimes all anyone needs is someone who cares and who will listen to them? Why does that feel so inadequate to me? I feel useless.
