I went out shopping today, and found Pretear on DVD!! *does the happy anime dance* I've been waiting so long for it to come out, and now it is, and I have it! *mwahahaha* So take THAT, oh ye fansub of poor quality that only cost me, like, $10. Now you are being replaced by crisp, clear images of the sexy Hayate and Sasame, kawaii Himeno, lovely Mawata (who reminds me SO much of Michiru from Sailormoon, I guess just because of the hair color O.o) at a cost of $30 per DVD. -_-;; Stupid greedy corporate jackasses. And, surprisingly, the dub doesn't suck. I'm not fond of Himeno's voice, and the whole crew has issues with pronouncing Japanese names (it is NOT ha-YA-te, damnit!!!!!, stop stressing the 'ya' part!!!!!! *cries*), but otherwise, it seems all right. I only watched the first few minutes or so of it dubbed, though. It got annoying to hear them say "Himino" instead of "Himeno" *grumbles again* Perhaps I'm just too picky. *shrugs*
and now, lyrics from a Cowboy Bebop song, "Blue" XD It has this beautiful choral-like beginning (with "words" by Yoko Kanno, no doubt, as she does so many of the other songs (lyrics and otherwise) for the series), and then again near the end (along with all these cool guitar and percussion sounds), that just totally complete the song; love this stuff... It's the song they play at the end of the very last episode, and if you've watched the whole series, it's just, greatness; I mean, with Spike, and, damn, I wanna watch that show again now. I have plans to own the series on DVD someday (I've never seen the sub, now that I think of it; just seen it dubbed on Cartoon Network). anyway, I'm gonna stop rambling now. ^^;;
